Recently added a new field, but you don't see the filter appearing, or you can't find items searching for it?
It's quite likely that the field has not been found by Sooqr yet. Please check, by the following steps.
1. Identifying the data feed
By identifying the data feed, Sooqr reads the structure of the feed.
This means new fields can be found, although their content is not yet read; this happens in a later step.
You can identify the feed in MySooqr by navigating to My Data -> My Data Feeds, and pressing the "Identify" button.
2. Activating the newly found field
After identifying the field, it will be found by Sooqr, and appear in the indexation.
Here, you'll have to activate the field if you wish to use it in Sooqr.
You can activate the field by navigating to My Data -> Indexation -> Custom Fields, and setting "Use Field" to "Yes" for the relevant field.
3. Refreshing the data feed
After the field has been identified and activated, the content of the field will have to be read by Sooqr.
You can refresh the feed by navigating to My Data -> My Data Feeds, and pressing the "Refresh" button.
After this there is one more step, which depends on whether you want to be able to search on the content of this field (4a) or add a new filter (4b).
4a. Adding field to search fields
To add the field to the fields you can search in, navigate to Frontend -> Searching.
Here, select the newly added field in the drop down, and assign a relevance value to it.
4b. Adding field as a filter
To add the field as a filter, navigate to Frontend -> Filters.
Here, select the newly added field in the drop down, select the widget type, and click "Add filter".
Note: most filters will be of the "Multiselect" type.
